The Big Green Scholarship Endowment Program plays an important role for Marshall University Intercollegiate Athletics. Scholarships lead to success both on the field and in the classroom. Endowed gifts are donations which are invested, with the interest generated from the principal used to fund scholarships for Marshall student-athletes.

Donors who choose to make gifts that fund endowments, permanently link their names or the names of loved ones with Marshall Athletics.

The minimum gift to create an endowment is $25,000, payable over a maximum five-year period. All gifts to the Big Green are tax deductible. The Big Green Scholarship Foundation is registered with the IRS as a 501 (c) (3) organization.
