Assistant Athletic Trainer Tara Conway is in her second year overseeing all nine Thundering Herd women's sports, with basketball and softball serving as her primary areas.
Conway joins the Marshall University Athletic Training staff after serving as a graduate assistant at the University of South Alabama. While there, she worked with women's volleyball, men's tennis and women's tennis. She earned her Masters Degree in Exercise Science from USA in 2005.
Conway attended Arkansas State University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training in 2003. While at Arkansas State, she worked with the Indian football team, as well as the Lady Indian basketball, volleyball, tennis and soccer teams.
A native of Stevens Point, Wis., Conway has also been an athletic trainer for the Mobile Tennis Center, the Largest Municipal Tennis Facility in the World. She has interned at Williams Baptist College, Nettleton High School and the Northeast Arkansas Physical Therapy Clinic.
