Aaron Goebbel enters his first year as Marshall's Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing after spending four years in the operations and facilities department at Marshall and has served as the Director of Events since 2006. In that position, he was in charge of all game operations for MU's Olympic sports while assisting in the operations for football and basketball.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Goebbel began his tenure at MU in 2004 as a graduate assistant following his stint as an intern in the Bowling Green State University athletics department. He earned his bachelor's in education from BGSU in 2004 before earning a master's in health and physical education from MU in 2006.
Goebbel is single and resides in Huntington.
