Aaron Goebbel is in his fourth year in the operations and facilities department at Marshall University and has served as Director of Events since May of 2006.

He assumes all game operations duties for Marshall's Olympic sports and assists in the operations efforts with football and basketball.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Goebbel began his tenure at MU in 2004 as a graduate assistant following his stint as an intern in the Bowling Green State University athletics department.

Goebbel, who will serve as tournament manager for the 2007 Conference USA Volleyball Championship in Huntington, earned his bachelor's degree in education from Bowling Green in May of 2004 and his master's in health and physical education from Marshall in 2006.

Goebbel is single and resides in Huntington.
