Joe Wortham has been a constant in the Marshall Athletic Department for more than 30 years. He came to Marshall as a student in 1966 and served the department in a number of capacities over the years.

His tour of Herd athletics has included stops as assistant sports information director, sports information director, business manager, ticket manager and a concessions manager, a job he filled for more than 14 years.

He is a Huntington native and a 1971 Marshall graduate.
