RICHMOND, Ky. - Sophomore Kathleen Clark (Twinsburg, Ohio) finished second overall but Marshall falls to EKU in both meets.

Clark was able to finish the meet with a time of 11:48.7 on the women's side and was 31 seconds behind race winner, Katy Ankrom.

Freshman Kylie Lemons (Prichard, W.Va.) and sophomore Hannah Henderson (Canvas, W.Va.) finished seventh and eighth with times of 12:37.0 and 12:44.1 respectfully.

On the men's side, freshman Chris Cole (Morgantown, W.Va.) finished highest for the Thundering Herd placing fourth with a time of 19:57.1.

Returning C-USA Newcomer of the Year Eric Frohnapfel (Morgantown, W.Va.) finished behind Cole in fifth with a time of 19:59.8.

EKU's women scored a 23 while Marshall had 33. For the men, EKU finished with a score of 21 and Marshall with 38.

The Herd will race again in two weeks as they will compete at the Mel Brodt Invitational hosted by Bowling Green.
