Prior To Marshall: Attended Western Oregon University

High School: Named second-team All-Mid-Western League...tallied a 7-3 record with a 2.48 ERA with 65 strikeouts....allowed just 43 hits in 62 innings...hit .343 with 20 RBI, eight doubles, and two homers...earned honorable mention as a pitcher as a junior...played for the Springfield Titans summer team in 2006...played for the San Jose Seals summer team in 2007...also lettered two years in football.
