HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University baseball team concluded its fall season with its annual Green/White World Series, Sunday, with the Green Team taking the rubber game over the White squad in the best of three series at the Kennedy Center on Route 2.

Sophomore right-hander Dan Straily tossed four innings striking out six and giving up two runs, and right-handed senior Adam Dobies got the save to seal the victory.

"This was an excellent springboard into our spring season" said head coach Jeff Waggoner. Waggoner explained that the energy and competition level was high for the whole series and that he was excited to see so many newcomers compete.

The Green team was coached by Tim Adkins while the White team was coached by Tim Donnelly and George Brumfield.
