Marshall Football Announces Spring Practice & Camp Dates
March 3, 2006 HUNTINGTON - The Marshall University football program has announced its 2006 Spring Practice and summer camp schedule.
The Thundering Herd will open spring practice with the first of 15 practice sessions on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 28 at Joan C. Edwards Stadium in Huntington.
This season, the Thundering Herd will also conduct a practice session at Laidley Field in Charleston. That practice is scheduled for Noon on Saturday, April 8.
All spring practice sessions are open to the public. Fans are reminded however that no recording devices of any kind or noise makers are permitted. Practice dates and times are also subject to change.
Spring practice will conclude with the annual Green-White Spring Football Game that is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, April 22 at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. Tickets to the game are $5 and all proceeds will benefit the Marshall University Quarterback Club.
Marshall's annual Coaches Clinic for high school coaches is set for Friday, April 14. In addition, Marshall will conduct football camps for campers in grades one through 12 on Saturday, June 10 and Saturday, June 17 at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. An advanced camp for high school seniors is also scheduled for Sunday, June 11.
