Big Green Ticket Caravan Set

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall University football coach Bob Pruett, select players, ticket office staff, and other Marshall athletics representatives are going to be making their way across the Tri-state as part of the 2004 Big Green Ticket Caravan.

“This is a great way for us to bring Marshall football to the fans,“ Burke McKinney, Big Green Director of Athletic Development, said. “This gives our fans a chance to talk to coach Pruett and visit with some of our players off of the field. The caravan also gives us an opportunity to provide Herd fans with a variety of information from what we have to offer in season ticket packages to membership in the Big Green.”

The Big Green Ticket Caravan encompasses five dates and 10 stops across the region. The caravan is scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 3, at Superior Chrysler in Ashland, Ky. Later stops include locations in Beckley, Summersville, Charleston, Parkersburg, Gallipolis, Pt. Pleasant, Williamson, Chapmanville, Teays Valley, and Nitro.

Fans will be able to get information on all of the various Marshall football season ticket packages, obtain information on the Big Green Scholarship Foundation, meet coach Pruett, and get autographs from some of Marshall’s top football players.

Local media members are encouraged to attend. Coach Pruett and the players in attendance will be available for interviews at each stop.
