Exclusive Internet Sale Begins at Midnight for Herdzone and Single Game Football Tickets on August 1st

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University Athletic Ticket Office will make all unsold seat locations in Joan C. Edwards Stadium available for purchase on a single game basis starting on August 1, 2004 exclusively on Herdzone.com via internet ticket sales. In addition, the ticket office is announcing the return of the “Herdzone” seating section – a limited number of $10 tickets located in Section 232 of the end zone.

“We are releasing some great seats for single game purchases,” Marshall Director of Ticketing Michael Carpenter, said. “The Herdzone is a good way to get a great seat for all the action at a bargain price.”

Starting at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday August, 1st, single game tickets (including Herdzone tickets) will be available exclusively online at www.herdzone.com.

Regular phone-in and walk-up orders will be taken beginning on Monday, August 2. The Marshall University Ticket Office’s in-season hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The ticket office is located at 1801 Third Avenue. Fans may order by phone by calling 1-800-THE-HERD or 696-4373.

The Herdzone features 1,000 seats in the upper end zone, sold for $10 each, on a first-come first-serve basis. Single game ticket prices start at $32 for prime seats on the east side of the stadium, $25 for sideline reserved seats, $15 in the end zone, and the limited number of $10 tickets in the Herdzone.
