Peter Underwood is marking his first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Thundering Herd.

Underwood played left wing in England and had professional trials before signing for Concord University in 2002. He played one year at Concord before the men's program was discontinued. Underwood then served as a student assistant coach with the women's program at Concord for the last three seasons, while also coaching club soccer and working with the English Premier League's Charlton Athletic. He graduated from Concord University in May 2006 with a B.S. (Hons) degree in Sport Psychology.

Underwood holds several coaching licenses, through the NSCAA, English FA, and UEFA.
