Meredith Knight was named the head women's golf coach in the summer of 2004 after spending three years as an assistant for Joe Feaganes for both the men's and women's team.
Knight is a native of Jacksboro, Texas, where she was the MVP of her
high school team from 1990-94 and competed in the state championships as
a senior. She then pioneered the women's program at McMurry University
in Abilene, Texas, as team MVP and was twice named the team's most
inspirational player. She then transferred to New Mexico State
University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing as
well as from the school's professional golf management program. Meredith
also played for the Roadrunner golf team in 1998-99.
Knight has worked as an assistant golf pro and teaching instructor at
Legend Lake Golf Club in Chardon, Ohio, and at the Dallas Country Club
in Dallas, Texas. She is currently working towardher PGA membership,
having completed Level II testing and Level III seminars in the golf
professional training program.
