RICHMOND, Ky. - The Marshall women's golf team carded a 341 in Friday's second round of the EKU Spring Invitational at Arlington Golf Course to finish the day in 13th place.

The Herd's Allyson Hatcher (Wheeling, W.Va.) and Jodie Switzer (Collingwood, Ont.) pace Marshall and are in a deadlock at 29th place. Both players recorded a 12-over 84 on Friday after posting identical 81s on Thursday.

Sophomore Whitney Wolejko (Hatfield, Mass.) fired an 82 on Friday, a three-stroke improvement from the opening round. Wolejko's effort in round two was MU's best of the day.

Toledo continues to lead the tournament with a 607. Eastern Michigan is in a distant second place at 634.

Toledo's Tammy Clelland is in first place with a 146 (74-72). Three Rockets and an Eastern Michigan player are tied in second place (154).

The 18 holes of the 54-hole affair will commence at 9 a.m. on Saturday (shotgun start).
