Women's Golf To Hold Lady Herd Golf Day

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University women's golf team is set to hold its annual Lady Herd Gold Day fundraiser. The event is a foursome best ball, full handicap golf tournament, which will take place on Friday, June 13, 2008 at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club in Hurricane, W.Va. and will begin with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Entry into the tournament is $125 for Sleepy Hollow members and $150 for non-members. The price includes greens fee, cart, tee gift, prizes, lunch as well as a donation to the golf team. Registration can be as a group or individually. The team is also selling hole sponsors for $100 and includes a printed sign advertising your name or business, which will be on the course during the event.
