GREENVILLE, N.C. - Marshall shot a 314 during Saturday's second round to enter tomorrow's Taco Bell Intercollegiate final round in 17th place (618) in women's golf action at Bradford Creek Golf Course. Georgia State leads the team race with a two-round total of 575 while Maryland's Katie Stepanek shot 5-under par today to take the 36-hole lead by six strokes (136) over Western Carolina's Ashley Hovda (142).

Only one of Marshall's five players improved on their first-round score on Saturday. Junior Stacy Wagner (Harmony, Pa.) carded a 6-over 78, improving by seven strokes from Friday, while fellow junior Amber Churchill (Dublin, Ohio) had the best round of the day for MU with a 76. Meredith Crislip (Parkersburg, W.Va.) shot her second straight round of 80.

Churchill is Marshall's top player through two rounds with a 150, tied for 30th place.

Sunday's final round will begin with a shotgun start. Bradford Creek Golf Course is a par-72, 6,093-yard course. Complete results and live scoring can be accessed at GolfStat.com.
