SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. - The Marshall University women's golf team will travel to the Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina for the Ross Resorts Invitational. The 54-hole tournament will take place on Monday and Tuesday.

On Monday, the action begins with the teams playing 36 holes before finishing up with 18 holes on Tuesday. Play begins at 8:30 a.m. on both days.

Aside from Marshall, the other teams participating include: Augusta State, Nova Southeastern, Yale, Xavier, Western Michigan, JMU, Bucknell, Cincinnati, Rollins, Richmond, William & Mary, Elon and Methodist. Rollins College is the host of the tournament.

In its last action, the Thundering Herd posted a third place finish at the Spider Invite two weeks ago. Sophomore Larie Lynch tied for a tenth place finish in the 36-hole tournament hosted by the University of Richmond.

Marshall will wrap up the fall season next weekend with a trip to the UAB Fall Beach Blast, which will be held in Gulf Shores, Alabama on November 5th and 6th.
