2000 Schedule
Huntington, W.Va. - Home sweet home. The Thundering Herd women's soccer team stands to benefit from playing seven of their 11 conference games this year at Sam Hood Field. In fact, Marshall will play 10 games in front of the home crowd this season.
Last season, Head Coach Teresa Patterson's young squad faced a grueling schedule that include twelve road contests and only seven home dates.
This year's slate includes non-conference matches with Youngstown State, Gardner Webb and Lafayette at home. Marshall will travel to face Wyoming, New Mexico, Morehead State, Virginia Tech and in-state rival West Virginia.
Thundering Herd fans will be treated to an exciting home conference schedule that includes dates with defending MAC champion Eastern Michigan, MAC runner-up Central Michigan and rival Ohio University. Marshall will also host Northern Illinois, Western Michigan, Toledo and Kent.
