Herd Softball to Host Miami on Wednesday

Marshall softball is on a roll. The Herd has won three straight and looks to move into second place in the MAC East with two victories on Wednesday.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- The Marshall University softball team will host Miami University on Wednesday, April 10, in a Mid-American Conference double-header. The games will start at 2:00 p.m. and will be played at Dot Hicks Field on the campus of Marshall University.

Marshall currently holds third place in the East Division of the Mid-American Conference with a 6-4 mark in the league. The Herd is 13-19 overall and looks to improve their record and standing in the conference against Miami. MU swept the University of Toledo, 3-1 and 1-0, in their last MAC series.

Miami is currently in sixth place in the East Division of the MAC with a 3-7 record. The RedHawks swept Kent State University in their last pair of conference contests and currently have an 11-27 overall record.

Admission is free to all Marshall softball games at Dot Hicks Field.
