Softball to Play Host to Louisville

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- The Marshall University softball team is set to host the University of Louisville in a non-conference double-header on Wednesday, May 1st at 2:00 p.m.

Marshall improved their overall record and standing in the Mid-American Conference with a three-game sweep of Kent State University over the weekend. The Herd is now 18-26 overall and 11-11 in the conference and is holding on to third place in the MAC East.

Louisville is 24-24 overall and 10-8 in Conference USA. The Cardinals took a CUSA double-header from the UNC-Charlotte over the weekend.

All Marshall softball home games are played at Dot Hicks Field on the campus of Marshall University and admission is free.
