Softball to Host Ohio in Final MAC Series

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- The Marshall University softball team will host the Bobcats of Ohio University Saturday, May 4th. The Mid-American Conference double-header is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. on the campus of Marshall University.

Marshall is now 18-26 overall and 11-11 in the MAC. Saturday’s contests loom large for the Herd as they are currently in third place in the MAC East and fighting for a berth to the conference tournament.

Ohio (23-23, 12-8 MAC) sits in second place in the MAC East and is also looking for a berth to the tournament.

The Thundering Herd will also be celebrating senior day Saturday, as seven Marshall seniors will play their last game at Dot Hicks Field. Admission is free to all Marshall softball home games.
