COLUMBUS, Ohio - Marshall diver Siobhan Schuurman was unable to repeat her season-best performance of 280.72 in the one-meter event at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships, finishing with a score of just 176 on Friday.

"I think she was a little nervous because this was her first time to compete at the NCAA Championships level," Marshall diving coach Lori M said. "I proud of her for reaching this point and I think she'll do better tomorrow now that she's gotten over some of the butterflies."

The 39th-place finish was certainly disappointing for Schuurman, but the junior will have a chance to improve tomorrow when she competes in the three-meter event.
