FRESHMAN SEASON Played all 123 games in all 32 matches...a vocal leader on the floor in debut season...set a Marshall single-season mark for assists with 1,642...averaged 13.35 assists per game...per game average 13th in nation and second among all freshman setters...dished out 73 helpers in semifinals loss to Tulsa Nov. 17...had 72 assists Oct. 21 at East Carolina...named AVCA Honorable Mention All-American...named to AVCA All-Midwest Region squad...named Midwest Region Freshman of the Year...garnered four C-USA Player of the Week awards...was named to the All-C-USA Second Team...earned a spot on the C-USA All-Freshman Team...and was named C-USA Freshman of the Year.

PRIOR TO MARSHALL Fleming comes to Marshall from John Adams High School in South Bend, Ind., where she achieved a 4.0 GPA. She was an all-conference honorable mention and MVP during her sophomore year, and was an all-conference first team selection and MVP her senior year. She was a three-year captain, a member of the South Bend All-Metro team in 2007 and was the IHSAA poster girl. In 2005 her club team was second runner up in the National Open Championship, in 2006 was the ASICS Nationals runner up, in 2007 was the National American champion, and was named to the American All-National Tournament team. The four-year letterwinner plans to major in International Affairs with a possible minor in French.
