FRESHMAN SEASON: Hansen played in 29 games for the Herd in 2005... posting a career-high five digs against Maryland... totaled 22 digs on the season with an average of 0.76 digs per game... PRIOR TO MARSHALL: The Merritt Island High School star was a two-year captain for Merritt Island...led team in digs and assists during senior season...Also, in her senior season, she was her team's MVP and a Florida Today First Team All-Space Coast Selection along with an Orlando Sentinel First Team All-Space Coast selection...she also made the East Ridge Invitational All-Tournament team and was on the Brevard All-County squad...in her junior and senior years, Hansen was Cape Coast All-Conference...also in her junior year, she won the team's Mustang Award for relentless hustle, leadership and heart...she was also a member of the Cape Coast Volleyball Club and played in the 2004 All-Space Coast All-Star game at the Cocoa Expo...she is a member of the 2004-05 Islander Yearbook staff, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the 2004-04 Central Brevard Debutantes...She is the daughter of Rob and Karen Hansen |
