FRESHMAN SEASON Saw action in 26 games in 15 matches in 2007...added 10 kills including four against Western Michigan Sept. 7...dug five balls including two at UCF Sept. 30...registered three total blocks (all assisted) highlighted by two against UAB Oct. 12...earned the "Spirit Award" at annual postseason banquet.

PRIOR TO MARSHALL Herman comes to Marshall from Atlanta, Ga., where she maintained a 3.3 GPA during two years at Dunwoody High School. She attended Holy Innocents Episcopal School during grades one through 10. In 2006, she was named to the Preseason All-State team. Herman's squad won the regional championship and she earned All-Area MVP. She was also one of only 24 players in the state of Georgia to be named to the Senior All-Star team. Her major is undecided at this time.
