SOPHOMORE SEASON (2008)
Started 25-of-28 matches...finished with 186 kills (2.11 per-game)...registered nine matches of double-digit kills, including six in a seven match stretch (9/19-10/5)...recorded a career-high 19 kills against UAB (9/28)...tallied 14 kills, six blocks and two digs at Southern Miss (10/5)...racked up 11 kills, six digs, three aces and a block vs. Tulsa (10/26).
FRESHMAN SEASON (2007)
Saw action in 15 matches...added 10 kills including four vs. Western Michigan (9/7)...dug five balls including two at UCF (9/30)...registered three total blocks (all assisted) highlighted by two against UAB (10/12)...earned the "Spirit Award" at Marshall's postseason banquet.
PRIOR TO MARSHALL
Herman came to Marshall from Atlanta, Ga., where she maintained a 3.3 GPA during two years at Dunwoody High School...attended Holy Innocents Episcopal School for grades one through 10...in 2006, she was named to the preseason all-state team...squad won the regional championship and she earned All-Area MVP...was one of only 24 players in the state of Georgia to be named to the Senior All-Star team...majoring in education.
