RED-SHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON Played in 38 games in 22 matches in 2007...contributed 12 kills and 13 total blocks as a solid role player...tallied a career-high four kills and a career-best three digs Nov. 4 against UCF...amassed four total blocks Oct. 14 against Memphis in debut season. FRESHMAN SEASON Red-shirted-Did not play. PRIOR TO MARSHALL: Kehl makes her Marshall debut from Crestwood High School in Mountain Top, Pa where she kept a 4.0 GPA for her high school career... all four years of high school she was named to the Wyoming Valley Conference All-Star team... Her junior and senior season she was named first team All-State... Also during her senior season she was the MVP of the Wyoming Valley Conference...also set a WVC record for more than 1,000 kills and an undefeated 20-0 team in the WVC in 2005... Layne was involved with the National Honor Society...Her expected major is Secondary Education |
