FRESHMAN SEASON Strickland played in seven games in 2006 and recorded a total of 3 digs two of which came against Chicago State on Sept. 2.

PRIOR TO MARSHALL: A local product from Kenova, W.Va., Strickland was a four year starter and letter winner for Spring Valley High School with a 3.8 GPA... She was first team All-State, first team All-Conference as a senior... in 2004 she finished the season as a first team WVRSN selection... second team All-State and first team All-Conference... as a sophomore and freshman was honorable mention All-State and All-Conference...She was a Wendy's High School Heisman and plans on majoring in Biology.
